PS FALL- SU Rewards Chair Position Description & Agreement

  • Accountable to: Fall Product Chair (SUFPC)
  • Time Commitment: January is the most concentrated time commitment.

  • Function: To help ensure troops receive all rewards/recognitions earned by the girls in the troop by accepting delivery and managing the distribution of all Fall Product Rewards for the Girl Scout Fall Product Program at the Service Unit level.
  • Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Attend Service Unit Fall Product Training
    • Assist with troop training, discussing reward distribution guidelines, and timelines
    • Ensure troops verify they have received all rewards earned before leaving distribution point
    • Communicate regularly with an SUFPC on any issue that may arise
    • Adhere to all GSGLA deadlines as provided by the SUFPC or Product Programs Manager (PPM)
  • Qualifications:
    • Current registered member of GSUSA
    • Adherence to the mission and principles of Girl Scouting
    • Adherence to all GSGLA and GSUSA policies
    • Strong attention to detail, be well organized and maintain accurate records
    • Accessible to computer, internet, email and telephone
    • Willingness to follow through, meet deadlines and be accessible to PPM
    • Ability to work with diverse groups and a strong desire to motivate and support girls, parents and troops participating in the Fall Product Program is a must
  • I accept the duties and responsibilities of the position of SU Rewards Chair as outlined above and agree to act as the SU Rewards Chair for the Service Unit chosen above in the 2024 Fall Product Program.
