CRITERIA 1: Service Unit Team - 10 Points

All members of the Service Unit Team are registered adult Girl Scouts. 75% of the Service Unit Team members have received adult education for their position within the past three years. All core Service Unit Team members have taken adult eduction appropriate for the position held at least every 3 years. (The core team are the Service Unit Manager, Registrar, Product Sales and Recruitment)

Girl Service Unit Team Profile - SUM, Registrar, Treasure, Troop Consultant, Recruiter, Fall Product Chair, Cookie Chair, Mediator, Cookie Mentor. Bonus 1/2 point for extra points filled beyond those listed above.


SUM is required to take all team position trainings and attend or listen to all SUM webinar meetings.

CRITERIA 2: GS Troop Leader Retention - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit Team have delivered Girl Scout program effectively, resulting in the the retention of 70% or more adults in leadership positions (01 &02). (This information is readily available from your Membership Specialist)

CRITERIA 3: Girl Retention - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit Team have delivered Girl Scout program effectively, resulting in the the retention of 75% or more girls. 1/2 bonus point for 40% or more of Early Bird renewals. (This information is readily available from your SU Support Specialist)

CRITERIA 4: Girl Membership- 1 to 10 Points

Overall girl membership has reached the goal agreed upon for the Service Unit and the SU Support Specialist. (This information is readily available from your SU Support Specialist)

CRITERIA 5: Troop Level Growth - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit Team have shown growth by adding new troops. Each level that had growth is awarded 1.5 points. Full 10 points are awarded if there was growth in all levels.

CRITERIA 6: Community Contact - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit Team establish and/or maintain contacts in the community to retain and increase girl and adult membership.

CRITERIA 7: Service Unit Communication - 1 to 10 Points

How does the Service Unit Team Communicate with troops?

CRITERIA 8: Family Partnership Participation & Goals - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit Team have actively promoted adult participation in fund development and have achieved at least 75% Girl Scout troop participation. Bonus 1/2 point for exceeding goals and showing growth.

CRITERIA 9: Customer Service - 1 to 10 Points

How has your Service Unit Team supported and encouraged your Troop Leaders to develop their skills and provide program activities.

CRITERIA 10: Council Reports - 1 to 10 Points

Members of the Service Unit have submitted timely reports required by the council.

CRITERIA 11: Product Sales Participation - 1to 10 Points
